Connect a Microsoft Azure subscription for Blossom BYOC
Connect Azure to use Blossom BYOC (bring your own cloud), with workloads billed to your Azure subscription.
Connect
- Create a dedicated application and service principal with the permissions shown by Blossom.
- Record its Tenant ID, Subscription ID, Client ID, and Client Secret.
- In Blossom, open Cloud Providers, choose Azure, and save those credentials.
- Run the connection check, then select a supported Azure region when you create an Environment.
Keep the subscription active, its payment method current, the role assignments valid, and enough regional quota available for approved Capacity. Azure role changes can take time to propagate; retry the connection check after the role assignment becomes visible.
After the connection is healthy, deploy, scale, observe, and recover Apps through the ordinary Blossom workflow. You can also connect the provider with the Blossom CLI.
