Connect an Amazon Web Services account for Blossom BYOC

Connect AWS to use Blossom BYOC (bring your own cloud), with workloads billed to your AWS account.

Connect

  1. Create a dedicated IAM identity with the permissions shown by Blossom.
  2. Generate an Access Key ID and Secret Access Key for that identity.
  3. In Blossom, open Cloud Providers, choose AWS, and save the credentials.
  4. Run the connection check, then select a supported AWS region when you create an Environment.

Keep the AWS account active, its payment method current, the IAM policy valid, and enough regional quota available for approved Capacity. After the connection is healthy, deploy, scale, observe, and recover Apps through the ordinary Blossom workflow.

You can also connect the provider with the Blossom CLI.
