# Prompt and Deploy

Deploy with your AI agent, one stage at a time. It can read your repository,
help configure the App, and use deployment logs to work through the next
adjustment. The agent uses the same CLI and permissions you do, and its
operations show up in Activity.

Quickstarts come with example settings already filled in. For your own App,
expect to review its Services, variables and database setup before deploying,
then check the build and startup results together.

## Prepare Blossom

Install the CLI:

    curl -fsSL https://cli.blossom88.com/install.sh | sh

Log in, then install the Blossom skill for your AI agent:

    blossom login
    blossom skill:install

`skill:install` installs the skill for the agent it detects and asks before
replacing an existing one. Use `--agent` to choose one, or `--agent all`.

## Prompt the Deployment

Name the folder your App is in and the next step you want help with:

> **Ask your AI agent:** Help me deploy ~/workspace/my-app to Blossom. Review the repository and
> propose its Services, build settings, variables and database setup. Walk me
> through configuring them, then show me the result before deploying.

The folder can also be part of a larger repository, such as
`~/workspace/acme/apps/web`; Blossom deploys just that folder.

The agent reads the folder and works out what to run: the App and
Environment, each Service with its command and port, and any database.
Blossom builds the source with Buildpacks or your Dockerfile; each Service
has an explicit command. You can make changes in the Web UI while the agent
helps with CLI commands, or ask it to apply the settings for you.

Follow [Set Up the Environment](/learn/getting-started/environments/)
for source, Services and variable sync. Once configured, ask the agent to
deploy and inspect the results. A missing build variable or a database that
needs initialization can take another adjustment and deployment. Each step
leaves configuration and logs you can inspect in the UI or CLI.

## What You Get

After deployment and application checks, you have:

- your App, live at its URL
- healthy Services, kept running by Blossom
- links to its logs, metrics and Activity

The same App is in the Web UI and the CLI, ready for your next change.

## Point Your Agent at the Docs

Every page here is also Markdown, for agents that read documentation:

| For | Use |
|---|---|
| One page | Add `.md` to its URL, or select **Copy page** |
| An index of every page | [docs.blossom88.com/llms.txt](https://docs.blossom88.com/llms.txt) |
| Every page in one file | [docs.blossom88.com/llms-full.txt](https://docs.blossom88.com/llms-full.txt) |

## Keep Prompting

Need more? Ask your agent in your own words. It knows Blossom, so anything you
can do in the Web UI or CLI, it can do for you:

- `Add a PostgreSQL database for this App.`
- `Run a worker with bundle exec sidekiq.`
- `Point www.example.com at this App.`
- `Create a Preview for each pull request.`
- `Run the cleanup task every night at 2 AM.`
- `Why did the last deploy fail?`
