# Deploy in the Web UI

Deploy the FastAPI Quickstart from your browser, watch it build, and open the
live App. The example uses a public repository, so there is nothing to set up.

## 1. Choose the Quickstart

[Open the Quickstarts](https://app.blossom88.com/quickstarts) in Blossom.
The switcher at the top left shows the Account and Location the App will run
in; select it to pick another. Then select **Deploy** on the **FastAPI** card.

## 2. Review and deploy

The form opens filled in from the example repository. Check where it runs,
then the App name and Environment. The web Service command, port, and Container
size are set further down.

Select **Deploy** at the bottom of the form.

## 3. Follow the deployment

Blossom opens the deployment Activity. Each step turns green as it finishes,
and the build and deploy logs stream below. The first deploy takes a few
minutes while Blossom starts a Builder and capacity for your Location.

## 4. Open the App

Select **View App**. Your FastAPI example is live on its own HTTPS URL.

## What You Get

- A `python-fastapi` App with a `production` Environment
- The web Service live on its own HTTPS URL
- The deployment's steps and logs, kept under the Environment's **Activity**

Ready for your own code? Open **New App** and enter your Git repository.
