Clean Up
When you’re done trying it out, delete the Environment, then the App. Blossom stops its Containers and retires unused Capacity after its idle retention:
blossom environment:delete --id environment-100 --yes --follow
blossom app:delete --id app-100 --yes
The database is separate from the App. If you created it just for this walkthrough, delete its instance too. This removes its databases and live data, so keep any backup you need first:
blossom database_instance:delete --id database_instance-100 --follow
Use the ID of your tutorial instance. Saved backups have their own retention settings.
What You Learned
Whether you ran the commands yourself or asked your agent, you’ve seen how Blossom deploys an App. When you prompt it to deploy, your agent:
- creates the App, Environment and Service in one step, with
app_plan:createandapp_plan:deploy - pushes your variables with
env_var:push - adds PostgreSQL with
database_instance:createand connects it withenvironment_link:create - deploys with
environment:deploy - checks the result with
release:list,activity:listandlogs
So when your agent deploys, you can follow what it’s doing, check its work with the same commands, and step in yourself whenever you want. Now try it:
Deploy ~/workspace/my-app to Blossom.
