Add Your Domain

Every Environment starts with a generated URL. To serve it on your own domain, ask your agent:

Point www.example.com at my-app.

Here are the steps it takes.

Add The Domain

blossom domain:init

domain.yml:

domain:
environment_id: environment-100 # replace with your environment id
  dns_name: www.example.com
  mode: https_automated
  main: false

Set main: true to make it the App’s primary URL, then add it:

blossom domain:create --data domain.yml

Point Your DNS

At your DNS provider, add the record shown on the Environment’s Domains page. Once DNS reaches Blossom, it requests the certificate and starts serving HTTPS. There’s nothing to renew.

What You Get

  • Your App at https://www.example.com
  • A certificate issued and renewed for you
  • HTTP redirected to HTTPS, with the path kept

Behind a CDN that terminates TLS, or serving *.example.com? See Domains for HTTP Only and Wildcard HTTPS.
