# blossom user:init

Create a starter user payload file

## Usage

    blossom user:init [--type TYPE] [--force]

## Flags

| Flag | Description |
| --- | --- |
| `--type` | User starter type: register or update |
| `--force, -f` | Overwrite an existing starter file |

Examples:

    blossom user:init
    blossom user:init --type update

registration.yml:

```yaml
registration:
  name: Ada Lovelace
  username: ada-lovelace
  email: ada@example.com
  password: ${BLOSSOM_REGISTRATION_PASSWORD}
  password_confirmation: ${BLOSSOM_REGISTRATION_PASSWORD}
  time_zone: Pacific Time (US & Canada)
  # Optional: set this when registering from an organization invitation link.
  # invite: INVITATION_TOKEN
```

Creates a starter registration payload file at registration.yml by default.
Set the password variable, edit the file, then register the user:

    export BLOSSOM_REGISTRATION_PASSWORD='change-me'
    blossom user:register --data registration.yml

For profile updates, create a user.yml starter instead:

    blossom user:init --type update
    blossom user:update --data user.yml
