blossom route:create
Send a path to a Service
Usage
blossom route:create [--data DATA]
Flags
| Flag | Description |
|---|---|
--data, -d |
YAML or JSON data, a path to a data file, or an HTTP(S) URL |
Examples:
blossom route:create --data '{"route":{"environment_id":"environment-100","service_id":"service-100","path":"/cable"}}'
Sends a path, and everything below it, to a public Service instead of web,
on every domain of the Environment. Rails ActionCable connects to /cable on
the page’s own host, so a separate cable process gets this route.
Each path belongs to one Service: a second route for the same path is
refused. Paths have no wildcards; /cable also covers /cable/anything. The
route applies at once, without a deploy. blossom app_plan:init adds
/cable for a Procfile cable process.
To send a whole host to a Service instead, such as api.example.com, set
service_id on its domain with blossom domain:create.
