# blossom profile:use

Switch local profile

## Usage

    blossom profile:use [--name NAME]

## Flags

| Flag | Description |
| --- | --- |
| `--name` | Profile name |

Examples:

    blossom profile:use --name acme-production
    blossom profile:use --name acme-staging

Switches the selected local CLI profile.

Use `BLOSSOM_PROFILE` when you want to switch for one command without changing
the saved selected profile:

    BLOSSOM_PROFILE=acme-staging blossom whoami

The profile must already exist. Output shows the effective destination, including
any environment override that still takes precedence. This does not switch
`blossom-ops`; select its operator profile separately.

If the selected profile was renamed or deleted, other commands stop and say
so until you choose one here; they never fall back to other saved credentials.

Change this profile’s Location without logging in again:

    blossom profile:set

Use `--location LOCATION_ID` or `--default` for scripts.
