# blossom profile:set

Set a local profile's Account and Location

## Usage

blossom profile:set [--name NAME] [--account ACCOUNT] [--location LOCATION] [--default]

## Flags

| Flag | Description |
| --- | --- |
| `--name` | Profile name; defaults to the current profile |
| `--account` | Account ID or name; changing Account clears this profile's login |
| `--location` | Location ID or name |
| `--default` | Follow the Account's default Location |

Set the current profile's Location:

    blossom profile:set --location "Frankfurt"
    blossom profile:set --location location-100

Edit a named profile without switching to it:

    blossom profile:set --name production-europe --location location-100
blossom profile:set --name production-europe --account "Acme"

With no Account or Location flags, open the Location picker:

    blossom profile:set
    blossom profile:set --name production-europe

The picker shows names and CPU architecture. Enter or `q` cancels. Scripts,
CI and JSON output require explicit settings.

Follow the Account's default Location:

    blossom profile:set --default

IDs are saved locally without contacting Blossom. Names use the edited profile's
saved login and match exactly, ignoring case. Duplicate names require an ID.
Use `account:list` and `location:list` to find names and IDs.

When changing Accounts, set the Account and log in first, then select its Location
by name. You can set both at once using IDs. Remote commands still check access
and Location ownership.

Changing Location keeps the login. Changing Account clears this profile's saved
login and resets its Location unless you supply one. Log in for the new Account
using the command printed after saving. Other profiles stay unchanged.

These commands do not move Apps, change Account defaults or create resources.
Profiles manage local context; `account:*` and `location:*` manage remote resources.
