blossom profile:rename
Rename a local profile and its saved login
Usage
blossom profile:rename --name NAME --new-name NEW_NAME
Flags
| Flag | Description |
|---|---|
--name (required) |
Existing profile name |
--new-name (required) |
New, unused profile name |
Examples:
blossom profile:rename --name tung --new-name prod-tung
Renames the local profile and moves its saved credentials. The Account, API endpoint and tokens stay the same; no login or API request is needed.
If this is the saved current profile, the selection follows the new name. Otherwise your current selection stays unchanged. Existing destination profiles or credential files are rejected. A profile without saved credentials can also be renamed.
If your shell sets BLOSSOM_PROFILE to the old name, update that variable too;
the CLI prints a reminder. Completion also prints the selection command:
blossom profile:use --name prod-tung
