# blossom organization:close

Close an organization and keep billing history

## Usage

    blossom organization:close [--id ID] [--confirm CONFIRM] [--yes]

## Flags

| Flag | Description |
| --- | --- |
| `--id` | Organization id. Defaults to the current organization |
| `--confirm` | Exact organization name |
| `--yes, -y` | Skip the name prompt in a terminal; --confirm is still required |

Examples:

    blossom organization:close --confirm "Acme" --yes
    blossom organization:close --id organization-100 --confirm "Acme" --yes

Close an organization after its Accounts have been deleted.

Use this for organizations that have had Accounts, Product resources,
subscriptions, or usage. Blossom keeps the billing and usage history so charges
stay explainable later.

Blossom will not close an organization while it still has Accounts. Delete the
Accounts first, then close the organization.

Closing an organization:

- keeps usage and billing records
- keeps the organization available for review
- is blocked while Accounts still exist
- requires the exact organization name

Use `organization:delete` only for an unused organization that has no Accounts,
no subscriptions, and no usage history.
