# blossom mcp:install

Add Blossom MCP to the coding agents on this machine

## Usage

    blossom mcp:install [--agent AGENT] [--force]

## Flags

| Flag | Description |
| --- | --- |
| `--agent` | Agent to add it to: auto, claude, codex, cursor, vscode, or all. Default: auto, every agent found |
| `--force, -f` | Replace a different blossom entry |

Adds Blossom MCP to the coding agents on this machine, so they can deploy,
check health and read logs as you. Other MCP servers in their configs are kept.

| Agent | Where it goes | Sign in |
|---|---|---|
| `claude` | Claude Code, user scope (`claude mcp add`) | `/mcp` in Claude Code, then Authenticate |
| `codex` | `~/.codex/config.toml`, shared by the CLI, IDE extension and app | `codex mcp login blossom` |
| `cursor` | `~/.cursor/mcp.json` | Cursor asks on first use |
| `vscode` | VS Code's user `mcp.json` | VS Code asks on first use |

By default, `--agent auto` adds it to every agent it finds. The URL follows
your profile's API: `https://mcp.blossom88.com/mcp` for app.blossom88.com.
Signing in chooses the Account and Read only or Full access.

A second run changes nothing. A different `blossom` entry is kept unless you
add `--force`.

For the Claude app, ChatGPT and other clients, add the URL in the app itself.
