# blossom environment:scale

Scale an Environment Service

## Usage

blossom environment:scale --id ID [--service SERVICE] --desired-size DESIRED_SIZE [--follow] [--timestamps]

## Flags

| Flag | Description |
| --- | --- |
| `--id (required)` | Environment id |
| `--service` | Service name or id |
| `--desired-size (required)` | Desired number of containers |
| `--follow, -f` | Follow environment scale logs |
| `--timestamps` | Show log timestamps. Default: true. |

Examples:

    blossom environment:scale --id environment-100 --desired-size 2
    blossom environment:scale --id environment-100 --service web --desired-size 2
    blossom environment:scale --id environment-100 --service web --desired-size 2 --follow
    blossom environment:scale --id environment-100 --service web --desired-size 2 --follow --no-timestamps

Scales an Environment Service to the requested number of containers.

Use `--follow` to stream the scale Activity logs until the run completes.

Use `--service` when the Environment has more than one Service, such as `web`
and `worker`. If the Environment only has one Service, Blossom chooses it
automatically.

This is the friendly environment-level command for scaling. The lower-level
resource command is `service:scale`.
