blossom capacity:server:list

List backing Servers and their lifecycle states

Usage

blossom capacity:server:list [--location LOCATION]

Flags

Flag Description
--location Location id (defaults to profile or Account default)

Inspect the Servers backing the selected Location without changing anything:

blossom capacity:server:list
BLOSSOM_OUTPUT=json blossom capacity:server:list

Uses the Location selected with location:use, or the Account default. For a one-off check without changing your saved selection:

blossom capacity:server:list --location location-100

Works with Blossom Cloud and Blossom BYOC (bring your own cloud). Requires capacity:read. Only Servers belonging to the selected Account and Location are returned. An empty Location returns an empty list; it creates nothing.

The list includes App, Data, Persistent, Builder and dedicated resource hosts. Shared database engines appear through their Data host, not as separate Servers. BYOC also includes the provider, provider Server ID and provider size.

Lifecycle And Size

State Meaning
Provisioning Pending or creating; not ready yet
Ready Active with a recent agent heartbeat; not a promise of free workload room
Unreachable Active record with no recent agent heartbeat
Draining / Drained Being emptied / finished emptying; not ready for new placement
Replacing / Replaced / Deleting Replacement or removal is in progress
Updating / Inactive / Failed / Timed out The recorded lifecycle state; not ready

Nominal size is the provider’s CPU and RAM specification from saved metadata, not guest-reported memory or available workload room. Missing metadata shows Unknown (null CPU/RAM in JSON). Sizes are never guessed from agent measurements or billed allocations. JSON includes size_source and size_observed_at for the metadata; last heartbeat shows agent contact, and observed_at dates the read. This command does not query the provider or refresh the agent.

Old and new Servers can overlap during replacement. Physical Server totals are not billed allocations. Use capacity:show for allocations and headroom, metric:* for utilization, and spending:show for Blossom charges. Blossom continues to manage Server creation, replacement and retirement.
