# organization_member_update

Change an Organization member's role, Account access or permissions. Making someone owner needs owner_confirmation.

## Arguments

| Argument | Type | Description |

| `id` | string | Organization member id. Required. |
| `data` | object | Only the fields to change. Required. |
| `data.role` | string | owner, admin or member. |
| `data.account_access` | string | all or selected. |
| `data.access_mode` | string | full_access or read_only. |
| `data.permission_set_id` | string | Permission Set id. |
| `data.owner_confirmation` | string | Required to transfer ownership. |
| `data.scopes` | string list | Custom permission scopes; permission_set_scopes lists them. |
| `data.account_grants_attributes` | object list | Per-Account access. |
| `data.account_grants_attributes[].account_id` | string | — |
| `data.account_grants_attributes[].selected` | boolean | — |
| `data.account_grants_attributes[].role` | string | — |
