# job_run_create

Run a saved Job now (job), or a one-off command in an Environment (environment with command or data), such as a migration. Returns the Run and its Activity; follow it with activity_wait, then job_run_logs.

## Arguments

| Argument | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `job` | string | Saved Job id; alternative to environment. |
| `environment` | string | Environment id for a one-off command; alternative to job. |
| `command` | string | One-off command with default resources; alternative to data. |
| `data` | object | Ad hoc Run fields: command, source, size or resources, timeout_seconds. |
| `data.command` | string | Command the Job runs; saving never runs it. |
| `data.source` | object | Optional custom image; the Environment's Release is the default. |
| `data.size` | string | Override size, or inherit to match the Environment's largest Service. |
| `data.resources` | object | Custom size instead of size. |
| `data.timeout_seconds` | integer | Default 900. |
