# Connect GitHub Copilot to Blossom in VS Code or the CLI

Use Blossom from Copilot in a VS Code workspace or a terminal session.

## VS Code

In the Command Palette, run **MCP: Add Server**, choose **HTTP**, enter
`https://mcp.blossom88.com/mcp`, and name the server `blossom`. Choose
**Workspace** to save it in the project. The equivalent configuration is:

.vscode/mcp.json:

```json
{"servers": {"blossom": {"type": "http", "url": "https://mcp.blossom88.com/mcp"}}}
```

Run **MCP: List Servers**, select **blossom**, and start the server.
Sign in to Blossom, choose your Account and select **Read only**.

## Copilot CLI

    copilot mcp add --transport http blossom https://mcp.blossom88.com/mcp

Open `/mcp` in a Copilot CLI session to check the server and complete
Blossom sign-in when prompted.

## What You Get

In Copilot agent chat, ask “Use Blossom to list my running Apps.” The
corresponding CLI command is `blossom app:list`. Continue with [Deploy from Chat](/docs/ai-agents/first-blossom-chat/)
to preview an App before deploying it.
