# Connect Codex to Blossom

Connect Blossom on the machine where your Codex session runs. The desktop
app, IDE extension, and CLI can use the same local Codex configuration. For a
remote development session, run setup on the remote host.

    codex mcp add blossom --url https://mcp.blossom88.com/mcp

Complete browser sign-in and select the Account you want Codex to use. Choose
**Read only** for a preview. If you still need to sign in, run:

    codex mcp login blossom

## What You Get

Open a fresh Codex session and ask “Use Blossom to show my connected Account
and access level.” The equivalent CLI command is `blossom whoami`. With the
expected Account connected, follow [Deploy from Chat](/docs/ai-agents/first-blossom-chat/).
