# Connect AI Apps

Add one URL to your AI app, sign in with Blossom, and ask it to deploy, check
health or read logs. It acts as you, in the Account you choose, with the same
permissions, capacity limit and Activity as the Blossom CLI.

    https://mcp.blossom88.com/mcp

## Connect in Four Steps

1. Copy the URL above.
2. Add it to your AI app, as shown below.
3. Sign in: Blossom asks which Account, and **Read only** or **Full access**.
4. Ask your first question.

## Connect Your App

### Claude

Open **Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector** in the Claude app (web,
desktop or mobile). Name it `Blossom`, paste the URL, then select **Add** and
**Connect**. It also appears in Claude Code.

### Claude Code

    claude mcp add --transport http blossom https://mcp.blossom88.com/mcp

Sign in: type `/mcp` in a session and choose **Authenticate**.

### ChatGPT

Open [chatgpt.com/plugins](https://chatgpt.com/plugins), select **+** and
**Add custom MCP server**. Name it `Blossom`, paste the URL as the **Server
URL**, choose **OAuth**, then **Create** and **Install**. Your plan must allow
custom MCP servers.

### Codex

    codex mcp add blossom --url https://mcp.blossom88.com/mcp
    codex mcp login blossom

The Codex CLI, IDE extension and app share this setup.

### Cursor

~/.cursor/mcp.json:

```json
{"mcpServers": {"blossom": {"url": "https://mcp.blossom88.com/mcp"}}}
```

Or select [Add to Cursor](cursor://anysphere.cursor-deeplink/mcp/install?name=blossom&config=eyJ1cmwiOiJodHRwczovL21jcC5ibG9zc29tODguY29tL21jcCJ9).
Cursor asks you to sign in on first use.

### VS Code

.vscode/mcp.json:

```json
{"servers": {"blossom": {"type": "http", "url": "https://mcp.blossom88.com/mcp"}}}
```

VS Code asks you to sign in on first use.

### Devin Desktop (Windsurf)

~/.config/devin/mcp_config.json:

```json
{"mcpServers": {"blossom": {"url": "https://mcp.blossom88.com/mcp"}}}
```

Sign in when asked, or run `devin mcp login blossom`.

### Zed

settings.json:

```json
{"context_servers": {"blossom": {"url": "https://mcp.blossom88.com/mcp"}}}
```

Zed asks you to sign in on first use.

### Gemini CLI

    gemini mcp add --transport http blossom https://mcp.blossom88.com/mcp

Sign in when asked, or run `/mcp auth blossom`.

### OpenCode

opencode.json:

```json
{"mcp": {"blossom": {"type": "remote", "url": "https://mcp.blossom88.com/mcp"}}}
```

    opencode mcp auth blossom

### Goose

Run `goose configure`, choose **Add Extension → Remote Extension (Streamable
HTTP)**, and paste the URL. A browser opens to sign in on first use.

### Cline

Open **MCP Servers → Remote Servers**, paste the URL, choose **Streamable
HTTP**, then **Authorize**.

### Any MCP Client

Add the URL as a Streamable HTTP server with OAuth. No client id, secret or
API key is needed: Blossom recognizes each app when it signs in.

### From the Blossom CLI

Already use the Blossom CLI? One command adds Blossom to the Claude Code,
Codex, Cursor and VS Code it finds, keeping their other servers:

    blossom mcp:install

Then sign in from each app as above.

## Ask

> **Ask your AI agent:** What's running in Blossom, and is it healthy?

Your AI app can:

| Area | Ask it to |
|---|---|
| Health | Show what's running, its URLs, and why anything is unhealthy |
| Deploys | Redeploy an Environment, deploy a new repository from an App Plan, follow a deploy to the end |
| Releases | List releases, roll back, cancel a release in progress |
| Activity | List recent work and read its logs |
| Capacity | Show Locations and capacity in use against each limit |

Each tool is a Blossom CLI command with `:` written as `_`, so you can run
what your agent runs ([every tool](/docs/ai-agents/mcp-tools/)):

| You ask | Your agent runs |
|---|---|
| What's running, and is it healthy? | `environment:list`, `runtime_issue:list` |
| Deploy github.com/acme/shop and give me the URL | `app_plan:preview`, `app_plan:deploy`, `activity:wait` |
| Why did the last deploy fail? | `environment:activity`, `activity:logs` |
| Roll production back | `release:list`, `release:rollback` |

When Blossom adds tools, Claude Code picks them up in its next session; in the
Claude app, select **Refresh tools** on the Blossom connector.

## Stay in Control

| You choose | What it means |
|---|---|
| The Account | Each connection works in one Account; with several, you pick it at sign-in |
| Read only or Full access | Read only can look at everything and change nothing |
| Your capacity limit | Deploys stay within it, as they do from the CLI |
| Confirm deletes | A delete waits until you say yes |
| Disconnect | **Profile → API Tokens → Connected apps → Disconnect**; its next request is refused |

Every change appears in Activity as **Claude via MCP**, or whichever app made
it. Start with Read only for production Accounts.

Text your AI app reads, such as a web page, an issue or a log, can try to steer
it. Review a change before you approve it, and keep production connections
Read only unless you mean to change things from chat.

No MCP in your agent? Install the [Blossom CLI skill](/learn/prompt-and-deploy/) with `blossom skill:install`.

## What You Get

- Blossom in the AI app you already use, after one sign-in
- Deploys, health, logs and rollbacks by asking
- The same permissions, capacity limit and Activity as the CLI
